Sound engineer Sophie Berger was trained at ENSATT to sound design and sound production. She takes sound, edits it, composes it and mixes it. In a sensitive way. She immerses herself in territories to produce sensitive creations; she dives into environments to design immersive journeys, invitations for listeners to hear the world.
She has walked across France for 1000 km along the Loire river for "LOIRE" (2013). She boarded on a container ship for a 3 months trip from Le Havre to China and back, to report about lifes inside one these giants of the seas in "CARGO" (2015). She was also onboard the supply ship that serves the French Austral Land and Seas, notably the subantarctic islands of Crozet, Kerguelen and Amsterdam, to deliver a travel diary in "49 ° 00’SUD" (2018). Her creations are broadcasted on radios such as ARTE Radio, France Culture, RTBF la première (Belgium), as well as in many festivals in France and abroad (Montreal and Brussels). In 2013, she won the Pierre Schaeffer Prize at the Phonurgia Nova competition, a prize for "authors with a unique path in writing the sounds of the world".
Sophie Berger also works for the performing arts. She creates soundtracks for theatre plays, for dance shows and for museum exhibitions. She has taught during workshops, notably at Phonurgia Nova (Arles) since 2015, and since 2019, at ACSR master classes... When she is not somewhere on the road, with her headphones and microphones, her base camp is somewhere in Morbihan, in Brittany.

صوفي بيرغر هي مهندسة صوت أتمت تدريبها في تصميم وإنتاج الصوت في المدرسة الوطنية للفنون المسرحية والتقنيات في ليون. تقوم صوفي بتسجيل الصوت وتحريره وتأليفه ومزجه بحساسية، وتحيط نفسها بأماكن لإنتاج أعمال حساسة، فتغوص في بيئات مختلفة لتصميم رحلات غامرة ودعوة المستمعين لسماع العالمسارت صوفي عبر فرنسا لمسافة ما يقارب 1000 كم على طول نهر لوار لأجل مشروعها "لوار" في عام 2013. وصعدت على متن سفينة شحن مبحرة لمدة ثلاثة أشهر من لوهافر إلى الصين وبالعكس لتحكي عن الحياة داخل مركبات البحار العملاقة هذه في عملها "كارغو" في 2015. كانت أيضًا على متن سفينة امدادات تخدم جزر اوسترال الفرنسية، لا سيما جزر كروزيت وكيرغولن وامستردام لتقدم مذكرات سفرها في عملها "49 ° 00’SUD" في عام 2018. تمت إذاعة أعمالها على محطات مثل راديو آرتي والثقافة الفرنسية و RTBF la première في بلجيكا، بالإضافة إلى العديد من المهرجانات في فرنسا وخارجها (مونتريال وبروكسل). في 2013، حازت على جائزة بيير شيفر في مسابقة Phonurgia Nova، وهي جائزة "للمؤلفين ذوي المسار الفريد في كتابة أصوات العالم." تعمل صوفي بيرغر أيضًا في الفنون الأدائية، مؤلفة مقطوعات للمسرحيات وعروض الرقص ومعارض المتاحف. كما شاركت بتقديم ورشات من أهمها ورشة في فونوبغيا نوفا (ارلس) منذ عام 2015، ومنذ 2019 في ACSR. عندما لاتكون على سفر مع سماعاتها وميكروفوناتها، تعيش صوفي في مكان ما في موربيهان في بريتاني.
Ameneh Karimian is a researcher at the Regional Centre on Urban Water Management (UNESCO-RCUWM) in Tehran, Iran. Starting her professional career from 2011, she is an experienced architectural designer with a research background on cultural heritage conservation and disaster risk management (DRM).

In 2017, she initiated the first UNESCO’s World Heritage Volunteer camp on qanat (Yazd, Iran), in collaboration with Sarvsaan Cultural Heritage Group and UNESCO-ICQHS, followed by its second round in 2019.

Presently, she is developing the DRM plan for Persian qanats to fill a gap in the conservation activities of qanats.
