Jeanne van Heeswijk is an artist who facilitates the creation of dynamic and diversified public spaces in order to “radicalize the local”. Her long scale community embedded projects question art’s autonomy by combining performative actions, discussions, and other forms of organizing and pedagogy in order to assist communities to take control of their own futures.
Jeanne has been involved in Qanat since 2019, where she participated in the public programme MA/WA and proposed and mediated a workshop on collective belongings that was conducive to the collective turn within the Qanat group. Since then, she advises and contributes to the work of Qanat through her long-term experience and practice. She was also at the origin of the invitation for Qanat to contribute to her exhibition project ‘Trainings for the Not Yet’ at BAK (Utrecht).
جانيه فان هيسفيك هي فنانة تقوم بتيسير إنشاء مساحات عامة فعالة ومتنوعة بهدف "جعل المحلي راديكالي". تسائل مشاريعها المجتمعية طويلة المدى استقلالية الفن عبر مزج أفعال أدائية ونقاشات وأشكال أخرى من التنظيم والتعليم لمساعدة الجماعات في السيطرة على مستقبلهم.
انضمت فان هيسفيك إلى قناة في 2019، حيث شاركت في البرنامج العالم لمعرض "ماوا" واقترحت وسيرت ورشة حول الانتماء الجماعي التي مثلت نقطة تحول جماعي لأعضاء قناة. منذ ذلك الحين، تقدم فان هيسفيك مشورتها لمجموعة قناة بناءًا على تجربتها وممارستها الطويلة. كما أنها كانت الداعية الرئيسية لقناة للمشاركة في مشروعها "تدريب لما بعد" في باك -أوتريخت.
